Qilimanjaro launches world’ s first multimodal Quantum Data Center

Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech has opened its Quantum Data

Center – the first multimodal quantum infrastructure in Europe. Located in Barcelona’ s innovation district, the center strengthens Europe’ s technological leadership and positions Catalonia as a global hub in quantum computing.
Through its Quantum-as-a-Service( QaaS) platform SpeQtrum, Qilimanjaro offers cloud-based access to quantum computing for companies, research centres and universities across Europe.

The facility will host up to 10 quantum computers, combining analog, digital and classical systems so users can match each project with the most suitable hardware.

Nokia and LMT partner to develop 5G tactical defense solution for the Baltics

( LMT), Latvia’ s largest mobile operator and a key defense technology partner, have signed a strategic agreement to develop a 5G-based tactical communications solution tailored for the Baltic defense market.
The collaboration combines Nokia’ s advanced 5G radio technology with LMT’ s defense expertise to create a secure, highcapacity, and resilient system designed for modern military operations. and operational readiness of national and allied forces.”
Giuseppe Targia, Head of Space and Defense at Nokia, said:“ Our joint solution with LMT harnesses 5G’ s speed, low latency and robust connectivity to modernize battlefield operations and enable faster, data-driven decisions.”
LMT and Nokia have been long-time partners in Latvia’ s mobile networks and defense innovation. Their work includes Europe’ s first 5G military testbed at the Ādaži base – a key NATO site – and the development of portable 5G tactical networks using Nokia’ s Banshee platform.
The new agreement marks a significant milestone in advancing nextgeneration defense capabilities across the Baltic region.
The new solution will support real-time data exchange among unmanned systems, sensors, and military personnel, improving situational awareness, interoperability and mission readiness for national and allied forces.
