T-Mobile selects Nokia to improve scalability and efficiency for 5G High Speed Internet service

Nokia will deploy its Multi-Access Gateway ( MAG ) solution which will allow T-Mobile to improve service scalability .
Fixed wireless access ( FWA ) is a key technology to rapidly expand coverage of high-speed broadband services to provide universal or ubiquitous broadband . FWA will support residential broadband applications such as high-definition video streaming that consumes significantly more bandwidth than mobile applications .
The Nokia MAG solution will allow T-Mobile to deliver an affordable , reliable and seamless broadband experience to every customer . The Nokia platform can incrementally scale the bandwidth for HSI traffic to multiple Terabits-per-second , while providing significant power and space efficiency .
As T-Mobile expands its HSI service to more homes , it will benefit from higher bandwidth with lower space and power .

Nokia has announced its collaboration with T-Mobile to launch a dedicated gateway solution that supports LTE , 5G NSA and 5G SA technologies for the service provider ’ s nationwide , fixed-wireless High-Speed Internet ( HSI ) traffic .

The Nokia MAG leverages the 7750 Service Routers ( SR ) to efficiently deliver broadband services over fixed-wireless access technologies . The Nokia MAG solution combines the throughput and power savings of an NPU-assisted user-plane architecture on 7750 SR systems , while providing the flexibility of the 3GPP controlplane architecture .

Waitrose invests in AI-driven search platform Netcore Unbxd for personalised online shopping

UK-based supermarket retailer Waitrose has partnered with a leading global provider of AI-powered Product Discovery solutions for ecommerce industries , Netcore Unbxd .

This integration has been undertaken to aim to improve its online search and browsing experience and develop personalised and tailored experiences for customers .
The partnership with AI-driven search platform Netcore Unbxd will allow Waitrose to improve customer service based on past customer buying patterns and behaviours . This includes search and browsing habits , product favourites and brand choices . Customers will benefit from relevant and accurate search results , making it quicker and easier to find what they need .
Waitrose will also be able to automate the search experience by providing relevant results for more complex searches . For example , if a customer searches for ‘ drinks for teetotallers ’ then the search results will display a range of alcohol-free drinks for the customer to browse through .
Laura Burbedge , Director of Online , Waitrose , said : “ We know that our customers are busy and need to be able to quickly fill their online shopping trolley with minimal effort . Through working with Unbxd we have already seen a significant improvement in customers satisfaction with our search feature , with more personalised results .”
Other ways that AI can optimise customer journeys are through cognitive customer care , personalised marketing , recommender systems , AR shopping , customer segmentation , headless commerce and semantic search . �
