• Captana AI shelf monitoring Micro-cameras analyse shelves continuously to detect out-of-stocks, price discrepancies and planogram errors, allowing stores to correct issues quickly and maintain optimal product availability.

The collaboration will see the rollout of nextgeneration electronic shelf labels, smart rails and AI-driven cameras. Together these technologies are designed to streamline operations, improve product availability and deliver a more responsive in-store experience for customers.
The partnership follows Vusion’ s large-scale deployment with Walmart in the United States and marks a significant technological alliance in Europe. As part of the collaboration, Carrefour will also join the International Advisory Board of the Vusion technology platform, contributing to the development of future retail standards.

Carrefour’ s shelves will be equipped with millions of smart labels connected to the cloud, enabling real-time price updates and improved operational visibility. The large-scale rollout positions the retailer as one of the most technologically advanced food retailers in Europe and builds on a series of successful pilot projects launched in June 2025.
