A defining milestone was achieved through ION Group’ s investment in a Global R & D and Innovation Campus – a 250,000 square meter development that will unite 2,000 professionals advancing artificial intelligence, digitalization, and data-driven innovation. This initiative marks the launch of The Ellinikon Business District – positioning Greece at the forefront of European technological progress and global research excellence.

Further reinforcing this momentum, The University of Nicosia will establish UNIC Athens, a 75,000 square meter technology-enabled campus powered by AI, robotics, and wellness technologies, designed to foster innovation, learning and collaboration.

Through intelligent infrastructure, digital mobility, and connected urban systems, The Ellinikon is pitched as redefining the future – creating a sustainable, adaptive environment where technology and human creativity work together to shape modern city life.

AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS has partnered with Dell Technologies to develop and market the GaiaB Appliance – an advanced Generative AI solution for automating business processes. Operating entirely on-premises or in private clouds, it is pre-integrated with Dell PowerEdge servers, offering a ready-to-use system.

GaiaB combines secure, scalable infrastructure and software, enabling organizations of all sizes – across public and private sectors-to adopt cutting-edge AI with high performance, flexibility and strong data protection. Its modular design allows gradual, costeffective upgrades through multiple SoC units or enhanced servers tailored to specific needs. Operating in air-gapped environments, it ensures sensitive data remains fully under local control.

The appliance integrates with corporate e-mails, SharePoint and internal databases, supporting intelligent services that unify data sources with zero coding.

Applications include automatic routing of customer requests, optimizing call center operations, summarizing meetings, automating document approvals and intelligent document storage searchable in any language.
