CASE STUDY
RICS was looking to inspire a more data-driven culture and supercharge productivity through AI, so the RICS Transformation Academy included three unique cohorts to cover those skills based on respective teams’ needs.
How does Multiverse approach upskilling established professionals within a traditional sector like surveying?
The reality is, most employees will interact with data in some way in their work, and most will be able to increase their productivity by leveraging AI. It’ s a common misconception that only data teams need data skills, or that AI understanding is reserved for technical roles, when in fact employees across diverse teams stand to benefit immensely from both.
The value of these skills extends far beyond technical roles and sectors – in fact, traditional sectors like surveying have just as much to gain from upskilling their workforce. The most important part is that technology shouldn’ t be used for technology’ s sake. Our apprentices start by identifying a workflow they have that is repetitive or inefficient and then create a project around that to apply the learnings from the programme to gain real world benefits in just weeks after starting an apprenticeship.
What unique aspects of RICS’ s needs or objectives stood out that made this partnership particularly compelling for Multiverse?
RICS saw a need to improve their team’ s AI skills to drive automation and efficiency, as well as increase their data literacy to make more data-driven decisions. They weren’ t just looking for training as a checkbox – they had clear goals and were looking for a partner to enable their team’ s learning and drive results. It presented a perfect opportunity that Multiverse is well-suited to address, leveraging our apprenticeship model to deliver impact across the organisation. p
