European enterprises race to implement AI and automation but strategy lags behind speed

The study , based on a survey of 900 IT decision-makers across seven European countries , revealed an average investment of € 103.4 million in AI and automation over the last two years . Ritu Dubey , Head of New Business Sales and Market Development , Digitate , said : “ European enterprises clearly recognise the transformative potential of AI and automation , particularly in addressing their most pressing operational challenges .

European enterprises are accelerating the adoption of AI and automation technologies , with 92 % of organisations implementing these solutions in the past two years , according to new research from Digitate , a leading provider of AI-powered software for IT and business operations .

The report , The Race to Outpace : How AI and Automation are Driving European Enterprises Across the Finish Line , examines AI and automation adoption , challenges , risks , and future implementation . While uptake is widespread , many organisations are still refining their strategies .
“ However , the research indicates that many organisations are implementing these technologies on a departmental basis rather than as part of an integrated vision . To maximise the value of these substantial investments , enterprises need to develop more comprehensive strategies .”
