Lenovo has announced that the Europe-based Innovation Centre specialising in HPC and AI will now operate with enhanced customer experience from the in-house manufacturing facility in Budapest . Running the Innovation Center operations from the Budapest factory with onsite inventory stock allows Lenovo customers to access the most advanced power and cooling infrastructure solutions and the latest generation technology within the supply chain . This access ensures that workloads are tested on accurate representations of end-purchased solutions , enabling customers to know that the Lenovo solution installed will perform successfully for the intended workload .

SWEDEN
EcoDataCenter is investing further in the EcoDataCenter 1 facility in Falun , Sweden , to more than double its current capacity . The expansion is driven by the company ’ s success in securing a major global customer as well as increased interest from companies worldwide . The expansion will more than double the existing capacity with the first phase to be completed by Q3 2024 and the full buildout by Q2 2025 . The expansion will bring the site ’ s total capacity to 45MW . It also holds significant importance for the local municipality , as it will create jobs and require services to support the expansion .

GERMANY
Zayo Group , a leading global provider of fibre-based communications solutions , has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Globalways GmbH , a Stuttgart-based fibre infrastructure and network services company . Once completed , this acquisition will enhance Zayo ’ s presence in Europe , aligning with its commitment to enhance its European service offering . The intended acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during Q4 2023 . Globalways operates approximately 360km of owned fibre infrastructure across the Stuttgart metropolitan area and surrounding regions , with more than 700 on-net buildings .
