RADWIN , a leading global wireless broadband solutions provider , has announced that SEMER , a safety automation and electrical engineering expert , as well as a subsidiary of the multinational group POMA , has deployed RADWIN ’ s FibreinMotion , in collaboration with the French distributor TALCO LR , to provide broadband connectivity for its cable cars in Toulouse .

EXFO , the communications industry ’ s test , monitoring and analytics experts , has announced that leading rural UK ISP Gigaclear has selected EXFO ’ s remote fibre testing and monitoring solution to support Gigaclear ’ s ambitious expansion plans . EXFO ’ s technology will allow the ISP to ensure ‘ first time right ’ deployment to reduce fault finding and truck rolls during operation and rapid fault identification once in service , from just a few strategic , central locations within its network .

ROMANIA
The Romanian National Administration of Penitentiaries has signed a contract with Motorola Solutions to deploy 2100 body-worn cameras to enhance safety and security in all prisons across the country . The new cameras will be used by prison staff during guarding activities and prisoner transport to help deter and deescalate confrontations and collect video footage in the event of conflicts or emergencies .

FINLAND
Nokia and Telia Finland have announced the launch of the world ’ s first commercial 5G standalone ( SA ) network with network slicing for Fixed Wireless Access ( FWA ) services . Telia is introducing 5G SA to its 5G Fixed Wireless Access home broadband services and is able to start offering a range of broadband deals with guaranteed service levels to its customers in Finland . These solutions will enable Telia to build on its existing leadership position and deliver enhanced connectivity and capacity benefits to its customers . The deployment is underway .
