Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust chooses Civica cloud software to boost patient safety guidance and support for clinicians to improve clinical safety and patient care .

( HPFT ) will implement new prescribing cloud software to enable clinicians to make the best prescribing decisions for patients across the Trust .
Civica Prescribing , designed specifically for mental health and community care settings , includes robust safety measures to stop errors in medication dosing . It provides precise patient information ,
HPFT provides health and social care for over 400,000 people with mental and physical ill health and learning disabilities across Hertfordshire , Buckinghamshire , Norfolk and North Essex , employing around 3,000 staff delivering services in the community and inpatient settings .
The new five-year contract supports the Trust ’ s Digital Transformation programme to develop more patient-facing and self-management technology , improve data analytics and interoperability between systems . Along with integrating with the pharmacy system , Prescribing will link with the NHS Electronic Prescription Service in future .

Rolls-Royce ’ s business unit , Power Systems , and Sea Machines , a leading developer of remote-vessel command and autonomous control systems , will join forces on the development and sale of fully and semiautonomous vessel control systems .
The combination of Rolls-Royce ’ s propulsion and automation solutions with Sea Machines ’ vessel control products will offer marine customers significant benefits in terms of vessel operations , safety , efficiency and environmental impact .
Michael Johnson , CEO and Founder , Sea Machines , said : “ Our autonomous vessel control products and advanced perception systems are pioneering the revolutionary shift of conventional and manual vessel control effort from human to intelligent technology .”
The strategic co-operation will focus on products for remote and autonomous vessel control and situational awareness , primarily for yachts , commercial and government vessels .
The two companies will also work together to develop new capabilities to provide customers with advanced total solutions that aggregate and analyse all vessel data and intelligently control vessels based on this information . p
