Stockport Homes chooses Civica ’ s digital housing software

Cx Housing cloud software will boost digital services and provide future-proofed technology platform to support growth .

Stockport Homes has agreed a new five-year , £ 1.2 million contract with Civica , a global leader in software for public services . Civica will supply its cloudenabled Cx Housing , Asset Management , Contractor Workforce and Abritas software to streamline the customer experience , increase automation and mobile services across the organisation .

Stockport Homes was formed in 2005 to manage housing stock on behalf of Stockport Council . The organisation manages 12,000 properties , including social and affordable rent , shared ownership and leasehold properties and has around 600 employees .
The Cx Housing platform will support Stockport ’ s ambitious vision to consolidate all online processes and move to a more customer-centric model . It will enable a single view of people , property and asset data on one mobile-enabled system and will also support Stockport ’ s plans to grow its commercial business arm alongside the social housing portfolio .
With the target to move 70 % of transactions online by the end of 2023 , Cx will simplify all customer transactions through a configurable online customer portal , where people can access help and information needed at any time , including applying for housing , bidding for properties , logging repairs or making rent enquiries .
Cx will offer simplified access for employees with all customer information available in one place rather than multiple applications . Improved workflow and automation , alongside integration into Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint , will boost communication across the organisation and allow users to be more proactive for customers . Employees can also access the system anytime , anywhere , supporting Stockport ’ s increasingly flexible and mobile workforce .
