Nokia to accelerate Tele2 ’ s digitalisation with distributed cloud core
Nokia core offers near zero touch automation capabilities that drive greater scale and reliability , allowing Tele2 to cost-effectively lay the foundation for 5G and enable faster time-to-market with new services . Nokia ’ s open architecture also provides the flexibility to be responsive to market demands while controlling costs at a time of growing network complexity .
As part of Tele2 ’ s core evolution , Nokia will deploy its Cloud Packet Core products to support both 4G and 5G core network functions and enhance network scale , performance and reliability .
Nokia ’ s further enhancements include deploying new Subscriber Data Management software to streamline Tele2 ’ s network operations . To support Tele2 ’ s strategy of delivering Voice over 5G ( Vo5G ), Nokia will further deliver Vo5G services to support connectivity and reduce operating expenses for both 5G and 4G .
Nokia has announced that it has been selected by Tele2 to deploy Standalone ( SA ) 5G Core and Voice over 5G ( Vo5G ) to enhance its cloud infrastructure and improve data and voice connectivity for Tele2 ’ s subscribers in Sweden , Latvia , Lithuania and Estonia . Deployment is expected to start in 2021 .
Nokia is leading the market in CSP core network deployments with 25 of the top 40 service providers relying on Nokia Core Network products .

Auth0 doubles business in the EMEA region
Auth0 , an identity platform for application teams , has announced it has doubled its business in the Europe , Middle East and Africa region ( EMEA ) in the third quarter over the same period last year . Randstad , Pret a Manger , Nutmeg , Flo Health , Libération , WeTransfer and DPG Media with its ‘ Streamz ’ online video-on-demand platform joined the hundreds of customers across the region already using the Auth0 platform .
“ Randstad has been progressively rolling out the Auth0 solution for identity management , designed to foster collaboration among our 41,000 team members around the world ,” said Koen Klaassen , Global Identity and Access Management Programme Lead at Randstad . “ The Auth0 private cloud solution fits our needs in terms of compliance and scalability , delivering the right level of performance and control .”
Auth0 ’ s growth benefits from the success of its modular ‘ building block ’ approach , which helps customers and developers to customise identity capabilities for their exact use case .
The September launch of Auth0 Marketplace provides further extensibility by introducing native third-party solutions from technology partners including regional companies like Onfido , MyLife Digital and Scaled Access . Additionally , channel partners are contributing to the adoption of the Auth0 platform in the EMEA region .
Auth0 has concluded agreements with new partners across EMEA , including CMS Distribution in the UK and systems integrator , Devoteam , in France , which has joined 30 regional partners already offering the Auth0 platform .
