at worldwide events

very year Excel exhibits around
the world at a range of events and
exhibitions, as well as hosting its own
roadshow events around the country. 2017
saw the Excel team travel to Gothenburg,
Sweden for the ECOC Exhibition, to Paris,
France for Data Centre World as well as to
London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds in
the UK for the Excel Cabling Partner Events,
as well as supporting numerous events
together with its distribution partners in
Europe and the Middle East. on a level playing field with competitors
at worldwide events, supporting the
business’ expansion of its geographical
reach into new international markets.”
Tracey concluded, “In 2018 Excel will be
celebrating a significant milestone; it’s 21st
Birthday! We would not have been able to
achieve this milestone without the support
of our customers, many of whom have
supported Excel events over the years. We
are excited for the opportunities that lie
ahead, wherever they may be!”
Speaking of Excel’s presence at international
events last year, Tracey Calcutt, Marketing
Manager at Excel, commented, “Events and
exhibitions are an excellent opportunity to
position the Excel brand among key players
within the industry. Over the past 20 years
since it was launched, Excel has grown to
become an award-winning brand sold in over
70 countries.” Starting off the year as it means to go on,
Excel has already completed various events
and exhibitions this year and has some lined
up for the next couple of months:

Events and exhibitions are a chance for
visitors to see some of the latest additions to
the Excel product range and how they can
work together to create a complete solution.
Excel Product Manager, Neil Payne,
commented: “Excel Environ Racks will be
showcased at events throughout 2018,
loaded with a variety of Excel copper and
fibre solutions, including the latest additions
to the Enbeam fibre range as well as Excel’s
new professional support service, bespoke
laser engraved labelling.”
Neil continued, “The products on display
are supported by a range of catalogues and
brochures, as well as a team of Excel product
specialists who are on hand to discuss the
products and their capabilities to suit a
diverse range of vertical markets.” n
